Chai Rotel

Chai rotell the famous "Segulah" for having children and all other salvations

One of the famous ways of meriting to be saved in all types of situations is to donate "Chai (eighteen) Rotel" (each 'Rotel' is approx. three litres) of drinks to be distributed amongst those coming to pray at the burial-site in Meron. This is mentioned in a famous letter written by the Bobover Rebbe to one of his acquaintances, where he writes as follows:

Greetings to my G-d fearing friend, Rabbi Jacob Israel Shmerler,

I have seen approached by one of our friends about the following matter of great importance. After having heard from people living in the Holy land that people who have not been blessed with children, or anyone in need of salvation, should donate eighteen Rottel of drink on Lag Ba'Omer at the burial-site in Meron, I have therefore chosen him to be my messenger to mention the names of Meir, son of Chaye Sarah and his wife Sarah, daughter of Shaindel, that they should be blessed with healthy children in the near future: and he should vow on their behalf Chai Rotel, and when G-d will grant them their wish they will gladly fulfill this vow. I hereby bless you with salvation in all, and to merit to live in the Holy land in peace and tranquility

Your dear friend

Ben Zion Halberstam.

Beit Hatashvil of the Ohel HaRashbi has undertaken to assist those in need of yeshuos. Its volunteers distribute the drinks on behalf of those who request it.

Rabbi Shraga Schnitzer, shlita, the organization’s dedicated director, is personal witness to hundreds of open miracles that came about in merit of this wonderful segulah and in the holy zechus of Rabi Shimon bar Yochai, zy”a. Couples who have been childless for years and were on the brink of despair merited to have children, people stricken with deadly illnesses were cured, older singles merited finding their zivug, people who were unemployed found jobs to support their families, among many other yeshuos.

You can now be a partner in all the chessed performed by Ohel HaRashbi. In the zechus of Rabi Shimon bar Yochai, those who donate generously to this cause are sure to receive an abundance of brachah.
